Moiki EDU as a vehicle for educational projects: county-wide rollout, partnerships with local authorities, public libraries, school libraries and families.

Moiki EDU is not only a classroom tool. It is a project vehicle that brings together teachers, students, parents, librarians, public libraries and local authorities around narrative creation.

Beyond the classroom: an area-wide project

Counties and lower secondary schools

A first area-wide rollout is taking shape in France with the Seine-et-Marne county council, its youth council and the regional digital education authority: a collaborative writing contest, in preparation for the coming school year.

This model can be reproduced. A county can:

Offer Moiki EDU to the schools in its area through a partnership with the county council
Rely on youth councils, which look for concrete, participatory projects
Fold the project into the county's education policies (digital, citizenship, reading)
Fund the support work from the county's education or youth budgets

The Seine-et-Marne county council has agreed to act as a reference for other interested counties.

Towns and primary schools

At town level, the project can be led by the town hall's education department or by the public library:

A contest between schools on a theme connected to the town (heritage, living together, environment)
Creative workshops at the library, during or after school hours
An exhibition of the stories created: interactive stations, QR codes in municipal buildings
A closing ceremony with elected officials, teachers and families

Regions and upper secondary schools

For upper secondary schools, the project can be carried by the regional council or by the academic research and development units:

Integration into digital science, citizenship education or language projects
Projects between schools at regional level
Themed contests linked to regional priorities (ecological transition, remembrance, career guidance)

Public libraries

Public libraries are natural partners for Moiki EDU. They have the spaces, the audiences and the culture of mediation:

Creative workshops

Interactive writing workshops: librarians run creative sessions with Moiki EDU, for children, teenagers or adults
Augmented reading clubs: read an interactive story together, then create one
Author residencies: an author supports a group in creating a branching story

The school library at the heart of the project

School librarians are among the earliest users of Moiki EDU. The school library is the ideal place for an interactive writing project:

Involving parents and families

One of Moiki EDU's unique strengths in project mode is the family dimension:

During the project

Parents can follow the progress of the project through the teacher

At the presentation

Parent voting: all the stories are published online, families vote for their favourites
Ceremony: an event bringing together children, parents, teachers and partners
Collective reward: a cultural outing involving children and parents together (museum, show, visit)

At home

The stories created by students can be played on any device (phone, tablet, computer). Parents can:

Discover the work done in class

The interactive presentation: Moiki beyond fiction

Moiki EDU is not only for writing fiction. Students use it to create interactive presentations, a format that completely renews the classic oral presentation.

Instead of a linear slide deck, students build a branching path where the audience makes choices: "Would you like to know more about the wolf's habitat? Or about its diet?" The content is the same as in a classic presentation, but the form is more engaging, and students have to structure their knowledge in a non-linear way — a more demanding exercise in thinking.

A science presentation: an interactive path through an ecosystem, where the audience chooses the themes to explore
Presenting a book: instead of retelling the plot, students bring a key passage to life interactively
A careers project: a "discover the professions" path where each choice leads to a different job profile

Creating together

One of the most promising directions for Moiki EDU is collaboration between teachers and authors (novelists, screenwriters, children's authors) to create teaching content of a higher narrative quality.

Why? A teacher masters the educational goals and knows their students. An author masters narrative construction, pacing, characters. Together they create stories that are both educationally solid and literarily engaging.

What that looks like in practice:

A children's author co-writes an interactive story with a language teacher, and the story is both a real narrative and a comprehension exercise
A science communicator builds a science path with a teacher, rigorous in substance, gripping in form
A game writer designs a media literacy escape game with a school librarian, where the game mechanics serve critical thinking
